We offer between 2 – 4 routes a day depending on the travel season and what day of the week it is (some days are more busy at the airport than others). Please go to our booking system and check your specific travel day to see the schedule for your specific day. The system is up to date and maintained frequently.

You don’t need a flight in order to travel with us. Moreover, we would love to have you with us. It is common for students, friends traveling to LAX to pick up their friends at the airport, and people who simply choose to go with us to get to LA because they rather use our service than other big companies. You are more than welcome to travel with us whenever it suits you.

Our booking system will ask for your flight info, we use this for analytics and new route configuration, however if you don’t have a flight feel free to place any random information (we won’t verify it) and just add a comment in the end of the booking system letting us know that

If your plane is delayed, in order to serve all of our passengers as best as possible and comply with LAX policies, the bus cannot wait. We operate as a scheduled bus and we always leave on time. The airport has a very strict policy and allows us only 1 minute for passenger loading. However, we’ll make every reasonable effort to communicate with you and get you on the next available van if seats are available. If there is no later shuttle scheduled that same day we can offer a seat on the earliest bus scheduled to pick up the following day.

We operate in the same way as any other bus, train, or even airline company, they leave on time in order to stay on the schedule, and so do we. Working around the airport and airline industry is incredibly tricky, but the only way we can stay in business is to maintain the rules and follow them.

The child fare is $5 cheaper than the standard fare and it is to be purchased at our booking system. A child is taking a full passenger seat and it is required by the CA Highway Patrol that it needs to have a seat, therefore we are not able to make any exceptions there.

We offer a child seat. You can add a child seat (or 2 if needed) to your booking at the end of the booking process on our website.

One ticket includes one carry-on and one-check-in luggage. If you need to bring more suitcases it is possible to add more during the booking and each additional check-in suitcase costs $15.

Below is the list of additional items:

    – A stroller, golf bag, or snowboard also costs $15

    – The surfboard is $30 – when booking please specify in a comment section how long your surfboard/ surfboard bag

    – The bicycle box is $45.

All items are available to be added to a booking system.

We drop off right at the International Terminal/ Terminal B. We do that because 99% of our customers go to LAX to fly internationally, however, if you need to be dropped off at any other terminal please let our driver know and she/he will gladly drop you off at any needed Terminal (as long as it is at LAX ;)).

Yes, tickets are refundable, you may cancel your trip up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. We offer an 85% cancellation refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. No refund will be applied if canceling less than 48 hours before scheduled departure.

The chance that we will be able to resell the ticket less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time is very low and need to be able to cover all trip expenses. If we were saving a seat for a passenger who purchased a ticket a month in advance and we didn’t sell it to any other interested person, then we would get a request to cancel it and send the refund 5 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are not able to resell the ticket after we missed out on an opportunity to do so.

Yes, you can modify your ticket for up to 48 hours at no cost. On the confirmation email, there is a link, that allows ticket change up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. By clicking on the link, you will be brought to the online self-service portal (the same as our booking system). Continuing through the purchase flow, you will select your desired trip and then proceed to checkout. Changing the ticket is super easy and you will get a new ticket once confirmed.

If you would like to change it over the phone it is possible, yet it comes with a $10 fee.

The earlier the better. Our vans hold only 9 passengers and it happens frequently that we are sold out. Usually, we allow bookings up to 3 months in advance, but we extended the time for the summertime to allow passengers to plan their trips ahead and be able to have everything booked beforehand (including airport shuttle ;)).

We recommend all passengers review our Terms & Conditions and they can be found here.

We love your pets and the fact that you have them. Unfortunately, we don’t allow pets in our vans due to the serious pet allergies of a few of our employees. Please, take it seriously as we do and contact us in case you need to bring a service dog with you and we will try to make arrangements with our employees after seeing the doctor’s certificate. Dogs, cats, birds, or other animals will not be carried, except a dog trained for accompanying a blind person, read more here.

Our seats are not numbered and the ticket won’t have any seat assigned. By purchasing a ticket you are guaranteeing yourself a place on the van. If you arrive at the pickup location first and meet the driver you can always call “Shotgun!” your seat and of course shotgun rules are respected and always will be.

Unfortunately, we can’t. Our service is low-cost because it is a shared ride. We have a fixed schedule, fixed prices, and two pickup locations. This helps to share the cost of the trip. Additionally, limiting the pickup locations helps to ensure timely arrival at the LAX Airport. However, if you are traveling with a large party (up to 9 passengers), we offer whole van rental as well. For this service, we offer pickup at the one chosen address and at a flexible time. If you are interested in renting the whole vehicle, please contact us at [email protected] and request a quote.

Yes, if needed, our vans are available to be rented by one party. To do so, please call us at (323)776-5467 or email at [email protected]. Depending on pickup location, time, and ride distance we will be able to estimate the fee.  The full van rental comes with a flexible pickup location and flexible pick-up time. The van holds up to 9 passengers.

You can apply your discount code at the checkout process when adding the payment method for your new purchase.

We accept credit and debit card payments. Our gateway is Stripe, this gateway accepts Cash App as well. When paying with a card, tickets can be purchased directly from the website. If you are purchasing a ticket in person, from our driver before departing San Diego, cash payment is also accepted. Please contact us if you would like to purchase a ticket via a different method.

Crypto payments may be accepted in the future, but not at the moment.

The charge on your credit card will appear as THE LYNX LLC or LAX LINQ.

Hours of operation are primarily during our scheduled service hours, however, you can contact us via email at [email protected] at any time. Our phone number is +1(323)776-5467.

No, this isn’t like a ticket you buy for a concert where you have to pay the venue fee, ticketing fee, and every other fee. You want to go to or from the LAX airport and we want to take you. We charge one flat rate and hope you use our company as often as possible

Please, email us at [email protected] with your reservation# (found in your email confirmation), your bus trip time/day, and the article left onboard. Our drivers check the vans after each trip and anything left will be given to our manager. The manager will make every attempt to return lost items but will dispose of the item after 30 days.

WEAPONS OF ANY SORT, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AND NARCOTICS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED WHILE TRAVELING WITH LAX LINQ. PASSENGERS UNDER THE INFLUENCE WON’T BE ALLOWED ONBOARD AND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE VEHICLES.

LAX LINQ Airport Shuttle sells tickets directly through our website. We strongly encourage purchasing your seats in advance to secure your seat in case of high-demand rides.

We have 3 pickup/ drop-off locations, one in San Diego Old Town, one in Oceanside, and one at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The LAX Airport is under construction, therefore temporarily we are using Terminal 3 as the pickup point. We pick up at the lower level (arrivals ) on Terminal 3, between columns 3F and 3G in the orange ‘shared ride’ zone. Terminal 3 is located right next to Tom Bradley International Terminal (5 minutes walk).

When you book a ticket make sure to allow enough time to go through customs and pick up the luggage. Our company schedule is fixed and we are not working with a specific airline, therefore if you don’t plan accordingly we won’t be able to wait for not present passengers due to our commitment to passengers who are at the pickup location at the scheduled departure time and airport regulations.

Please, be there 10 min before the departure time, LAX has strong regulations and allows less than 2 minutes for unloading the passengers, so we won’t be able to wait. Our bus will arrive very close to the scheduled departure time.

We don’t have a long-term parking lot available, however, there are plenty in the area and there are short share-drive opportunities from where we pick up in San Diego Old Town Transit Center.

Our schedule is based on a 2 ½-hour to 3-hour commute time, however, Southern California traffic and unforeseen circumstances can affect the commute time, so we ask that everyone plan accordingly when purchasing their tickets.

Stopping the van at a rest stop could cause people to miss their flights or connections and that is why we ask that everyone take care of any necessary bathroom breaks before the departure. However, if there is a need, we can offer a restroom break at the Oceanside at the rest stop.

Well, thank you, we believe in this company and its purpose. Traveling between LAX and San Diego can be painful and we would love to make it easier and cheaper for all parties involved. Since half of our crew is from abroad, we completely understand the need for shared transportation. Additionally, we have a great sense of humor and we love snacks. Can’t wait to see you!
